Investigação do caso Jean Charles de Menezes
November 12, 2007 – 11:16 amAo ouvirmos as notícias sobre o caso do Jean Charles pode aparecer a impressão de que a família dele está sendo muito radical, e que seria pouco provável de um processo rolando na Inglaterra sofrer dos problemas que costumamos achar que são coisa de Brasil. Eu estava lendo o relatório da IPCC (independent police complaints comission) sobre o caso e me impressionei com este parágrafo:
“There is no doubt that officers shouted ‘armed police’ as they ran down
the escalators and onto the platform in an attempt to clear the area of
passengers. It is perhaps significant that none of the 17 witnesses
recall hearing the police officers shout ‘police’ or ‘armed police’
immediately prior to the shooting, whilst the eight police officers on the
train recall either shouting or hearing this. Those officers have been
interviewed under caution concerning allegations that they have
conspired to pervert the course of justice.”
Ué….deixa eu entender, oito policiais disseram que lembram que alguém gritou “Polícia!” na hora da ação, mas as 17 (DEZESSSETE) testemunhas que estavam no local não. E eles dizem que não há dúvidas de que os policiais gritaram?? Por que os 8 policiais valem mais do que as 17 testemunhas?
